And with this, the three acts are complete. Having finally established her raison d’être, Matt and Sandy soon find out that cheating death (life?) does not come without compromises. The story takes an unexpected turn of events when Sandy makes a decision nobody expected, and Matt is struggling to accept it.
If this sounds too much like a TV-episode summary, my apologies. It’s quite difficult to summarize a book that completes a series without giving away anything about “undying” or “crossing”.
Word of caution: once “fading” is available, make sure you read “undying” and “crossing” first, otherwise the story will be more difficult to follow.
